Tea Cegar

This exceptional tea standard is made out of specially plucked leaf from the TRI 2043 cultivar. This is boiled and hand made by rolling as cigar and then sun dried for 3 days between 22 ‘C – to 24 ‘C.

After making this, the teas are carefully stored and packed with Aluminium foil papers, to avoid absorption of moisture. Unlike other silver tip or Chinese teas, this is a handmade, naturally sun dried product. Further, this is boiled and dried, where other silver tips are naturally dried tea.

Helices

The tea is made by initially plucking the bud and the first two leaves. Thereafter it is allowed to wither naturally. The withered leaf and bud are hand rolled and given a fine twist. In this process, some are created in to rolled leaf and it gives a twisted large leaf appearance. Then the hand rolled leaves are allowed to dry naturally, which gives a dark brownish black colour to the particles. The leaf in a cup of hot water blooms into a bud and two leaves, giving its natural appearance. A green tea taste could be obtained from the brewed tea.
