Further strengthening its commitment to developing a skilled and motivated workforce, Hatton Plantations PLC conducted a comprehensive training program on Labour Relations for Productivity, targeting estate youth and management on 1st of October 2025.
The program was organized by National Institute of Labour Studies (NILS), under the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment, and aimed to enhance leadership qualities, teamwork, and positive workplace culture among estate communities.
Key focus areas of the training included:
- Leadership and Management Fundamentals for Productivity Improvements – Empowering participants with essential leadership and management skills to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in estate operations.
- Building Trust, Inspiring Teamwork, Commitment, and Cooperation – Strengthening interpersonal relationships and fostering a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
- Developing Positive Attitudes and Mindsets to Achieve Competitive Advantage – Encouraging a growth-oriented mindset and proactive attitude to meet emerging challenges in the plantation sector.
